T47 Finance — Finance Strategists

Terms of Use

The short version: everything on this site is general information for discussion, not credit assistance, and you should check anything here against your own circumstances before acting on it.

About these terms

This website is operated by Marcus Shue trading as T47 Finance ABN 64 423 816 498, authorised under Mortgage Specialists Pty Ltd ACN 612 422 178 Australian Credit Licence 387025. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

The information here is general

Everything on this site is provided for illustrative and discussion purposes only. It does not take your objectives, financial situation or needs into account, and it is not credit assistance, a quote, a pre-qualification or an offer of credit.

Any figures, proportions or examples shown are illustrations. They are not a prediction of what any particular loan will cost you. Terms, conditions, fees and charges may apply. Normal lending criteria apply. Rates are subject to change. Approved applicants only.

Credit assistance is only provided after I have made reasonable inquiries about your requirements, objectives and financial situation, taken reasonable steps to verify that situation, and given you a Credit Guide. Nothing on this website forms part of that process.

The Cashflow Drilldown

The Cashflow Drilldown is a paid information service. It is engaged separately from any credit assistance, under its own written engagement setting out the fee, what is included and when payment falls due. Nothing on this website forms that engagement.

The service produces an organised record of your own transaction history and a written breakdown of it. It is not credit assistance, not financial product advice, and not a debt negotiation service — I do not contact your lenders or creditors on your behalf or seek to vary your credit contracts.

The accuracy of the breakdown depends on the statements you provide being complete. If accounts or cards are left out, the picture will be wrong, and I can only work from what I am given.

Engaging the Drilldown creates no obligation to arrange finance through me, and arranging finance through me does not require you to engage the Drilldown. Neither service is conditional on the other.

The Drilldown fee is a fee for the Drilldown. It is not a cost of obtaining credit, it is not a fee for credit assistance, and it is not a Credit Quote. Any fee payable to me for credit assistance would be set out in a separate Credit Quote provided before that work starts; where no Credit Quote is provided, no fee for credit assistance is payable. The Drilldown fee is not refunded, discounted or offset against any amount by reason of a loan being arranged.

If you do go on to arrange a loan through me, I would receive commission from the lender in addition to the Drilldown fee you have paid. Those are separate payments arising from the same relationship, and commission arrangements are disclosed in the Credit Guide provided before any credit assistance is given.

Use of your statements in a credit application. Statements provided for the Drilldown are used for the Drilldown. If you subsequently apply for credit through me, the inquiries and verification I am required to undertake may be satisfied using those same statements — but only where you request it and consent in writing at the time of the application. Absent that consent, Drilldown material is not used for any credit purpose. You may instead provide fresh documents for the credit application, or require the Drilldown statements to be deleted beforehand.

The fee is $1,980, being $1,800 plus $180 GST. That single figure is the total payable and there are no additional or mandatory charges. It covers the statement work, the session, the written breakdown and the follow-up review. It is payable after the initial conversation and before work begins on your statements, and a tax invoice showing the GST component is issued. No representation is made as to whether the fee is deductible for you; that depends on your circumstances and is a matter for your own tax adviser.

If, after the session, you do not feel you have learned something meaningful about where your money goes, where your current spending patterns are heading, and what you could adjust to improve your position, you may request a full refund of the fee. The assessment is yours to make and you are not required to justify it. Requests must be made within 7 days of the session and the refund is returned by the same method the payment was made. You retain the written breakdown.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Accuracy and availability

I take care preparing what appears here, but lending policy, lender panels and regulation change frequently and information can become out of date. Anyone seeking to rely on the content should make their own enquiries and research to confirm its relevance to their own circumstances.

I make no promise that the site will always be available or without errors, and I'm not responsible for loss arising from the site being unavailable or from reliance on its content, to the extent the law permits.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to third-party websites, such as AFCA, the OAIC, credit reporting bodies and my licensee. Those sites aren't under my control. Linking to them isn't an endorsement of their content, and I'm not responsible for it.

Using the enquiry form

The enquiry form is for genuine enquiries about credit assistance. Please give accurate information — if what you tell me is incomplete or incorrect, I may not be able to assess your situation properly, and you may be in breach of your own obligations to a lender later on.

Don't send identity documents, tax file numbers, bank statements or other sensitive material through the form. I'll tell you how to send those securely once we're in contact. How your information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The T47 Finance name, logo and the content of this site belong to me or are used with permission. You're welcome to read, print and share pages for your own personal use. Reproducing the content commercially, or using the branding, requires my written permission.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with anything about this site or the service you've received, the process for raising it is set out on the Complaints page.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
